St John is a part of the United Church of Christ, a mainline Protestant denomination. We believe that “God is Still Speaking”. By this we mean that we continue to hear and interpret the sacred scriptures as they apply to our lives and world today. We seek to listen and watch for God’s creative revelation in our world. While our faith is 2,000 years old, our thinking is not, We believe that science and religion can coexist and we encourage you to bring your whole self to worship. At this church, you do not need to check your brain at the door.
