Thank you all for your generosity to the “Got Milk” Lenten mission offering. We raised $173, Mission Alive rounded it to $175 and matched it so that we could send $350 to Heifer International. In addition to the match from Mission Alive we have also been informed of a special offer that allows our gift to be matched again, which means that thanks to your initial gift of $173, a total of $700 will go to the Helping Honduras project. Heifer International has undertaken a number of projects to help the people of Honduras where nearly two-thirds of children under the age of five are malnourished. The money we have raised will support projects that provide things such as cows, goats, beehives, hens fish, fruit trees, and more to help families survive, become self-sufficient and be able to help their neighbors do the same.
