This year’s theme for the Hanging of the Greens service on November
29th is “Remembering Christmas, Anticipating Christ”. The service
will be much like a holiday tree-trimming party, complete with cocoa
and cider, and will feature stories of Christmas memories and reflections. Do you have a story to share of a Christmas past that one of the
decorations or hymns calls to mind? In addition to any stories of
Christmas past, we are also looking for individuals reflections on how
one or more of these “decorations” or elements of the Advent/
Christmas season help you to prepare your heart for the birth of Christ.
Please submit your reflections/memories in writing to the
church office by November 15th.
